Rheumatic disorders create considerable health risks and are on the rise around the world. Clinical trials in rheumatology are critical for finding novel therapeutics and improving the efficacy of existing treatments, hence improving patient outcomes.

New therapeutics for a variety of autoimmune conditions are still being explored as our understanding of the immune system and the chemicals that mediate inflammation advances. Studies in this field frequently share similar clinical and operational considerations, problems, and risks, so it is critical to collaborate with a research partner who has experience in various therapy areas.

Recognizing this need, CEERI has strategically established a Rheumatology Center of Expertise dedicated to supporting clinical trials for rheumatic diseases across Central and Eastern Europe.
