Metabolic Diseases
Center of Expertise

Enhancing research and treatment for improved patient outcomes in metabolic diseases

Metabolic diseases are a major public health challenge, with a significant impact on quality of life and lifespan. While current strategies to manage these conditions may offer some benefits, recent advances in clinical research are essential to find more effective solutions. Clinical trials focused on metabolic diseases are fundamental to identifying new therapies and optimizing existing ones, with the potential to transform the way we approach and treat these complex conditions.

CEERI’s Center of Expertise for Metabolic Diseases is dedicated to optimizing clinical trials in this field. The center develops strong partnerships with research sites and regulatory authorities, employing an adaptive approach to trial management. Its goal is to create an environment conducive to the rapid and efficient conduct of clinical trials by fostering collaboration among pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and academic institutions.
