Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death, with current treatments often falling short. Therefore, clinical trials in this area are crucial for developing new treatments and enhancing the effectiveness of current therapies to improve patient outcomes.

CEERI has strategically established a Cardiovascular Diseases Center of Expertise dedicated to supporting cardiovascular diseases clinical trials. This initiative aims to accelerate study start-up timelines through strong relationships with research sites and regulatory authorities adapting a Just in Time approach to SSU.

The Cardiovascular Diseases Center of Expertise serves as a focal point for fostering collaboration among stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and academic institutions. The overarching goal is to cultivate an environment which favors efficient and high-quality clinical trial execution, ultimately contributing to advancements in medical science and improved patient outcomes across Central & Eastern Europe.
